Roosevelt County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is proud to be sponsoring up to 4 high school Juniors and/or Seniors for the 2025 Government-In-Action Youth Tour. This is an all expenses paid trip to Washington D.C. for roughly 2,000 high school students across the USA. During the Youth Tour, students will have an opportunity to meet elected officials to better understand how the federal government works, learn the history of electric cooperatives and rural electrification, and to visit museums, memorials, and monuments around our nation’s capital.

Applications are available for download below, or can be picked up in our office at 121 N. Main, or in your high school counselor’s office.

Tour Dates: June 16, 2025 – June 21, 2025

Application Deadline: January 31, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

·        Be a high school Junior or Senior.

·        Be a dependent of an active Roosevelt County Electric Cooperative (RCEC) member and reside in the RCEC service territory

·        Submit the completed application with signatures and 500-word essay as described in the application by 5pm on Friday, January 31, 2025
